The letter I used to be excommunicated from the Catholic Church a few years back. Felt compelled to add it after reading Adrian Tippetts’ article on PinkNews this morning. The letter received the desired response, but my old parish priest took about a month to deign to reply, whereas the diocese office got back within a few days.
For those who don’t know, the Catholic Church bases its membership numbers on the amount of baptisms it’s performed. That’s where ex Oz PM Kevin Rudd got the figures quoted at World Youth Day a few years back re number of Catholics in Oz(that’s what compelled me to write the letter). You have to specifically request to be removed from the baptismal register to not be counted, but I’m not too confident in that process.

I’d love for Jamie Campbell-Bower to play the lead (Lex Ryerson), and with maybe Dakota Blue Richards as the ranga (Sammy Hunnerup. Not sure about the third (Mark Gertic); love Nicholas Hoult, but I think he’s exponentially too good looking compared to the character’s basis. =P
Anyway, please throw some coin at it. The hard copy version has already sold out (but only to book stores, so some copies might come back), so only the Kindle version is up at the moment until another print run is finished (just check the link to the paperback edition on the Kindle version page for updates).

Slung from the lord’s saddle was his shield, dark orange and charged with three black castles. Dunk knew those arms, but from where? The lord who bore them was an older man, sour-mouthed and saturnine, with a close-cropped salt-and-pepper beard.

What traits would you give him? Do you think he might have mellowed a bit as an adult, or just gotten more Tony-eqsue. >=) I think making him a ‘Great Kisser’ was more wishful (hopeful!) thinking on my part … Also gave him ‘Charismatic’, ‘Lucky’, ‘Star Quality’, and ‘Genius’.

Age of Empires II (Age of Kings) Conquerors expansion pack cover. More interesting than the original Rise of Rome expansion for the first game, but I still think Rise of Rome was the one I couldn’t have easily lived without: it addedsomany seemingly obvious interface and other tweaks that just made the game so much easier and intuitive. =D
